Soft-close drawer slides are a separate job, because they replace the runners in the box, and they appear on the quote as their own line when they are wanted.
Brushed and antique brass suit warm white, greige and green kitchens. Matte black suits white shaker and charcoal. On grey and cool white, brushed nickel plays it safe. Mixing metals by zone, such as black pulls on the island and brass on the perimeter, is common now. A set of pulls for a whole kitchen runs from under a hundred dollars to well over a thousand depending on the maker, and the labour for filling and drilling is a modest line on the quote.
